Going InfiniteThe New York Times has released its list of best-selling business books for November, 2023.

Rocketing to the top of the list is the new book by Michael Lewis about Sam Bankman-Fried, Going Infinite.  I am a big Michael Lewis fan, and had already selected Going Infinite as one of my two choices for the November First Friday Book Synopsis.  It is an absolutely fascinating read. – I have presented other Michael Lewis books through the years at the First Friday Book SynopsisMoneyball, The Big Short, and Flash Boys.

Another person worthy of a big-book treatment is Elon Musk, and Walter Isaacson’s new book, Elon Musk, in number 3 on this month’s list.  It was number one on the October list, the first month of its release.

And to add to the big names of Sam Bankman-Fried and Elon Musk, at number 2 on this month’s list is Arnold Schwarzenegger’s new book, Be Useful. (I love this title!)Elon musk, Isaacson

I will be presenting my synopsis of the Elon Musk book at the December First Friday Book Synopsis.  (Wish me luck; this will be a challenge to present in my time allotted;   yes, it is a big book).

Of the ten books on this month’s list, after our December gathering, I will have presented five of the ten:  Going Infinite, Elon Musk, Hidden Potential by Adam Grant, The Creative Act by Rick Rubin, and Atomic Habits by James Clear.

I am also considering presenting Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Be Useful, and Clear Thinking by Shane Parrish, early in 2024.
